Wrestler Jaskaran Singh, the gold medal winner in the Asian Games, received a warm welcome on his arrival in Patiala

Wrestler Jaskaran Singh arrived Patiala: Jaskaran Singh Dhaliwal of village Mandor of Patiala district has made the country proud by winning the gold medal in the under 20 65 kg weight category in the Junior Asian Wrestling (Wrestling) Games held at Jordan. On reaching Patiala, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni welcomed wrestler Jaskaran Singh Dhaliwal at the rink hall. Municipal Commissioner Aditya Uppal was also present with him on this occasion.

Describing Jaskaran Singh Dhaliwal as a source of inspiration for other sportsmen and all the youth, the Deputy Commissioner said that it is a matter of pride for the country and the state that the players here are shining the name of the country at the international level. Congratulating the player, he said that while the pride of the country has increased with your achievement, at the same time, this achievement will serve as a beacon for other youth to show their skills in sports.

He also congratulated the sports department of the Punjab government for this victory and said that the tireless efforts of the competent coaches of the sports department are proving helpful for the players of the state to shine the name of the state at the national and international level.

Sakshi Sahni congratulated Jaskaran Singh Dhaliwal for his victory and wished him to progress further in the future and asked him to play his role in motivating other youngsters to join sports.

On this occasion, District Sports Officer Harpinder Singh said that the Chief Minister.
