* Students who are submitting their student visa application online will have to pay a basic visa fee of NZD 375 (approximately Rs. 19,200).
* Candidates who are applying online for their student visa from New Delhi need to pay NZD 430 i.e. Rs 22,000 (approx) as Receiving Center Fee (New Delhi).
* Applicants applying for student visa in New Zealand on paper (offline mode) should note that the cost of immigration will be Rs 22,600, apart from which students will have to pay a receiving center fee of Rs 1,520.
* However, applicants should check the official website before applying for the exact amount to be charged. Offline application for New Zealand student visa for Indians will cost around Rs 24,000.
Documents Required for New Zealand Student Visa:
* Valid passport – Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your period of stay in New Zealand.
* Completed student visa application form (NZD 1012)
Receipt of Application Fee Payment:
* Offer of a place – You must have an offer of a seat from an institution/university in New Zealand. Forms are usually released after receipt of tuition fees.
* A letter from your current institution confirming your status as a study abroad student.
* Health insurance slip
* You may need to show health and character certificates to prove your intention to stay in New Zealand.
* Two passport size photographs
Note: Apart from these, additional documents may also be required. During the personal interview, the interviewer may request additional documents from you. These documents may include documents from you showing your educational or financial status.
* Transcripts, diplomas, degrees or certificates from the schools you attended
* College-required test scores, such as TOEFL, GRE, or GMAT scores
* Evidence of how you will pay for your tuition, living and travel expenses
Candidates studying in New Zealand under Student Visa 2023 are allowed to work part-time up to 20 hours per week.
