Women arrested for not wearing hijab properly

For the first time, action against women for not following the dress code issued by the Taliban regime has been confirmed. In the year 2021, the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan.
However, in this case, the spokesperson of the ministry, Abdul Ghaffar Farooq, did not say how many women have been arrested. These women were arrested 3 days ago. He also did not explain what it means to not wear hijab properly. Almost two years ago on 2 May 2022, the Taliban issued a decree telling women that they could only show their eyes, they were told to wear a head-to-toe burqa.
