According to the information issued by the department, 30 rupees (for all activities) has been issued to each student for the purchase of equipment needed by the students for the activities conducted during the summer camp in the schools.

An amount of Rs 5.06 crore has been released for 1062433 students of primary classes and 625035 students of classes VI to VIII in government schools across Punjab at the rate of Rs 30 per student. 62.48 lakh rupees have been released for 138408 students of primary classes and 69866 students of sixth to eighth in Ludhiana alone.
