Action on failure to appear in Minty Kaur case

The court of Jalandhar Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Amit Kumar Garg has taken strict action against Sheetal Angural, AAP MLA from Western Constituency, for not appearing in the Harvinder Kaur Minty case despite repeated summons. The court issued a non-bailable warrant against the MLA on August 10 and ordered him to be arrested and produced in the court on August 24.

Along with this, all surety bonds of Sheetal Angural were also ordered to be canceled and confiscated. Minty had registered a case against Sheetal Angural and her colleagues in police station division number 6 for making obscene comments on social media. The police submitted the challan in the court after the investigation. In the complaint, Minty had said that apart from insulting words about her, she was also called a blackmailer.
