UPSC EPFO recruitment 2023: UPSC will close the online application process for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Recruitment 2023 on March 17.

Those who have not yet applied can submit their form at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in. A total of 577 posts of Enforcement Officer and Assistant Commissioner are to be recruited through this recruitment drive.

Know the position information

In EPFO recruitment, 418 posts are for Enforcement Officer (EO) / Accounts Officer (AO) and remaining 159 posts are for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC). Except Dispur, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur there will be limited number of candidates at the examination centers. Other exam centers will be available on first come first serve basis. The earlier one applies, the better are the chances of getting an exam center of one’s choice.

Selection process

Final selection will be done on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of marks in both written test and interview. The weightage of the written test and interview marks will be 75:25. The examination will consist of objective type multiple choice questions related to General Aptitude Test (01). The language of the examination will be English and Hindi. The exam will be of 300 marks and one-third marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Exam Pattern for EO to AO Post

The exam will be of two hours duration. One third mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Objective type multiple choice questions will be asked.

Syllabus- General English, Indian Freedom Struggle, Current Events and Developments, Indian Politics and Economy, General Accounting Principles, Industrial Relations and Labor Law, General Science with Knowledge of Computer Applications, General Mental Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude, Social Security in India.
