ASEP: The day after the elections – What changes

They are thawing all public sector recruitments, according to the election result given by the polls of June 25. More specifically, from the moment the new government is sworn in, the ASEP will have it again “free” to continue without interruption all the announcements and the competitions which he has left in the middle.

It is worth noting that with the beginning of the term of the new government, are also expected changes in operating mode of the Independent Authority. In a recent interview, the head of New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakisstated that a corrective regulation is expected to speed up the procedures, without, however, stating what the specific arrangement will include.

In particular, he said that: “Something that concerns me has to do with the speed with which the recruitments are made. ASEP is reliable, but the delays are long”stated and announced that an important reform for the next or the next Minister of Public Administration and Interior is the way in which the recruitment process will be accelerated. “We are talking about changing the operation of ASEP, not about recruitment outside ASEP”, he emphasized.

The first competition out of the drawer

As he wrote in exclusive Saturday report, proson.grthe first announcement that will be unfrozen is 2K/2023 which foresees the filling 72 seats in Chambers of the country. Immediately after, 3K/2023 will follow, which foresees the filling 29 seats to the Local Vascular Improvement Organizations (TOEB) of the whole country.

Afterwards, two more large competitions will take place that will “open” positions in the Ministry of Justice, in ministry Citizen Protection as well and to 13 more large Education and public institutions.

It is worth noting that for all the competitions we mentioned above no written competition is required and the recruitments will be made based on the scoring of the candidates.

The Panhellenic written competition

It is worth noting that the large pan-Hellenic public written competition was exempted from the “freeze” of recruitment. Therefore, the Authority has been proceeding all this time with the procedures necessary to start the second stage, which will include the issuing of specific notices.

In fact, according to the exclusive report of proson.gr, until the end of July it is expected that, barring the unexpected, the first of the four notices that will be addressed exclusively to the winners of the competition has been issued. We remind you that ASEP’s goal is, by the end of the year, to have issued four tenders to cover approx. 5,200 seats in the wider public sector.

In particular, four announcements are expected, as follows:

• A notice which will contain at least 3.502 positions and will be addressed to the winners of the category University Education (PE).
• A notice which will contain at least 1.565 positions and will be addressed to the winners of the category of Technological Education (TE).
• A notice which will contain at least 57 seats for Special Scientific Staff (EEP)
• A notice which will contain 141 positions in Civil Aviation Service (CAA)
