Harbhajan Singh ETO meeting in Amritsar: Due to more heavy rains in the last few days, there is a flood-like situation in different areas of Punjab, after which the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Singh Maan, ordered the MLAs and DC Sahbans of the city at different places throughout Punjab. He went to his constituencies to inspect.

In Amritsar, Electricity Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO held a meeting with Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar and other administrative officials. During this conversation, he said that the conditions of Amritsar are very good compared to the rest of Punjab. On the last day, the Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar inspected the villages near the Ravi river and administrative officials also visited the villages near the Beas river. In the villages where flood-like conditions were likely to occur, people have also been brought out safely.

Keeping in view the conditions created due to heavy rains, to take stock of the arrangements made by the heads of various departments, a meeting was held today in the district administration complex and took stock of the current situation. ETO’s statement on the arrest of OP Soni

Meanwhile, speaking about the arrest of former Deputy Chief Minister Om Prakash Soni, Harbhajan Singh said that action will be taken against whoever manipulates the treasury of Punjab.

Let us tell you that due to continuous rains in Chandigarh, Mohali and different places of Punjab for the last two days, flood-like conditions are appearing in Punjab and water is also visible in the rivers, due to which the rivers are overflowing. Gates are also being opened and due to which many villages are being affected and due to this, water has reached the hospitals as well. After which, on the guidelines of Punjab Chief Minister Balwant Singh Mann, the DCs and MLAs of different districts are meeting and inspecting their respective constituencies.
