Free skill training will be provided under the 'Transformation' scheme

Punjab Government: According to the idea of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Minister of Punjab Aman Arora launched the ‘Parivartan’ scheme to make the youth employable by making them skilled. Under this scheme, students will be trained for seven elective courses (job roles) with high demand.

He said that for this purpose Plot No. 1-15, Sector-101, Alpha IT. City, SAS A center equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for imparting training has been set up at the city. After launching the scheme, Aman Arora inspected the center and interacted with the youth receiving training there. He emphasized that such schemes are the need of the hour to create maximum employment opportunities for the youth. He said that it will also help in providing skilled manpower to the industries.

Director Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Deepti Uppal said that the youth will be trained in seven training courses, including General Duty Assistant, Medical Lab Technician, Hospital Front Desk Executive, Retail Sales Associate-cum-Cashier, Account Executive, Jr. Includes software developers, search engine marketing executives.

Giving more information about this scheme, Deepti Uppal said that 10th and 12th pass (course wise) students can get themselves registered and certified under this scheme. PSDM CSR of Under the scheme, 2100 students across the state will be given this training free of cost. After the training candidates will be issued certificate for their course under National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The course syllabus will be as per National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).

He further said that the department is continuously striving to make this mission a single point of contact for the government to formulate and execute skill development schemes. It is worth mentioning that the transformation scheme, which was launched by the Punjab Skill Development Mission and HDFC. An initiative of Bank Limited, will be implemented through training partner M/s Orion Educational Society.
