On the occasion of Bihar Day, people will get golgappa for free in Muzaffarpur district. Along with this, people will be able to taste the local cuisine in the district headquarters. In this, a fee will have to be paid for Litti Chokha and other dishes. But the arrangement of Golgappa will be free of cost. Let us tell you that on the basis of the guide line received from Patna regarding Bihar Day on March 22, preparations have been started by the district administration. An organizing committee has been constituted for this by the District Magistrate. On the other hand, different departments and officials have been given responsibility for fair, exhibition, stall, decoration, cultural program, competition, sports and morning procession.

Cuisine fair organized on March 22

Proceeding has also been issued at the administrative level regarding the event. In which it has been told that a cuisine fair will be organized on March 22 in the two-day program. In which the Municipal Commissioner has been given the responsibility to make arrangements for Bihar’s local food like litti-chokha and other stalls on fee basis. Under the instructions of the District Magistrate, local institutions, Lions Club, Rotary Club and colleges will be included in the cuisine fair at the headquarters. Participation of local vendors in the fair is to be ensured. The charges for the dishes charged through the stall will be on the basis. Golgappa will be arranged free of cost.

Stalls and exhibitions of 11 departments will be set up

Let us tell you that there will be stalls and exhibitions of 11 departments. It includes Education Department, District Rural Development Agency, ICDS, Livelihood, Agriculture Department, District Industry Center, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Prohibition Department, Health Department, Police Department, District Registration and Counseling Center. On the occasion of Bihar Day, preparations have also been started regarding the cultural program at the district headquarters. According to the instructions of the department, 60 percent local artists and 40 percent artists from the state or outside the state will participate in the cultural programme. There will be a program of professional artists on March 22. And on March 23, school children will be included.

48 teams will participate in the quiz competition

A total of 48 teams of children from schools of all blocks will participate in the quiz competition along with sports. Instructions have been given to the District Education Officer regarding its arrangement. The competition will be held in Zilla Parishad Auditorium. Scrutiny of the team will be done in advance. Whereas the final of 4 to 5 teams will be held at the main venue. And in sports, badminton, sack race, slow cycle race, musical chair will be organized.
