A terrible road accident in Jalandhar, the death of an army lieutenant

A terrible road accident took place in Pathara of Jalandhar in Punjab. In this painful accident, a lieutenant of the army died and the condition of a captain present with him is critical. It is being told that the accident took place at the T-point near Narangpur village of Pathara. The preliminary investigation revealed that the accident occurred due to dense fog.

The deceased lieutenant has been identified as Atchit, who hailed from Haryana. At present, the body has been taken into custody by the police and sent for post-mortem. On the other hand, the injured Captain Yuvraj resident of Nagaur, Rajasthan has been admitted to the Military Hospital. Yuvraj Singh has suffered internal injuries in the accident.

Investigation Director ASI Jeevan Singh said that the accident took place between Friday-Saturday at around 2:30 pm. Lt. Achit and Capt. Yuvraj were returning from Haripur Range to the Head Office at Jalandhar Cantt in their private Creta car. Meanwhile, when his vehicle reached near Narangpur, it suddenly went out of control and overturned. Due to which both Lieutenant Achit and Captain Yuvraj were seriously injured.

Captain Yuvraj was conscious during the incident and immediately informed his teachers about the matter. After this, with the help of passers-by, Lt. Achit was immediately taken to India for treatment at Johal Hospital near Ramamundi.

Doctors declared him dead during treatment here. ASI said that they got information about the incident in the morning. After which he immediately reached the Civil Hospital. He said that during the incident, there was dense fog at night, due to which the accident took place.
