The Punjab School Education Department has released the transfer orders of teachers at the district level online. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains tweeted about this. A total of 5172 teachers in the district had applied online for transfers from May 17 to 19 in the state.
Transfer orders have been issued for 2651 teachers out of a total of 5172 teachers who applied. All these teachers are those who have been transferred to the vacant posts of schools under the district.
308 non-teaching staff of schools also applied for transfer. Out of these 275 employees have been transferred. According to the claim of the Punjab government, this transfer has been done online on the basis of merit marks obtained with full transparency.
