A case of molesting a female crew member in the flight coming from Dubai to Amritsar has come to light. The police of Amritsar’s Rajasansi police station have arrested the accused Rajinder Singh. After registering a case against the accused, the police produced him in the court in the evening and sent him to judicial custody.
Ajay Kumar, Assistant Security Manager of Indigo Airline stationed at Amritsar Airport, told the airport police in a complaint that Rajinder Singh, a resident of Kotli village in Jalandhar, had boarded from the Indigo Airline flight from Dubai. During the flight, on the way, the accused molested the female crew member after drinking alcohol and also made loud noise.
Investigating officer ASI Tarsem Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused under sections 354 and 509 of the IPC and he has been arrested. He said that the accused has been sent to judicial custody after being produced before the duty magistrate.
