Accused of not spending the budget properly
Leader of Opposition Akhilesh Yadav said that the government is showing the dream of a trillion dollar economy to UP. But, he should see the 2020-21 report of NITI Aayog to see where Uttar Pradesh stands. He said that once the government tried to prove by waking up all the members by running the assembly day and night, that it will work on the sustainable goals of the United Nations and the Delhi government will cooperate in it. He said that if those things had been worked on in the true sense and the budget had been spent, then the NITI Aayog report would have said something else.
Status of UP in NITI Aayog’s report
Akhilesh Yadav said that Uttar Pradesh is at number four from the bottom in the list of 28 states in the first standard No Poverty in this report. Uttar Pradesh is on the fifth number in the list of 28 states in ending zero hunger starvation. Good health is second from bottom to bottom. Uttar Pradesh is at number 18 in quality education.
