First list of BJP and Congress released for Tripura Vidhan Sabha elections

Congress and BJP released the first list of candidates for the Tripura Vidhan Sabha elections. Congress has announced 17 candidates. Sudeep Roy Burman has also been fielded from Agartala. Congress has given ticket to Ashish Kumar Saha from Town Bardovali seat to challenge CM Manik Saha.

Before the Congress, the BJP released the list of candidates for the Tripura elections in 48 seats. The party also announced that Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik will contest the election. Pratima will contest from Dhanpat seat. Elections will be held in Tripura on February 16 and the result will come on March 2. There will be elections for 60 assembly seats here.

It should be said that the Election Commission had announced the date of assembly elections in Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland on February 17. Elections will be held in Tripura on February 16. Voting will be held on February 27 in Meghalaya and Nagaland. The results of all states will be declared on March 2.
