Significantly, Congress leaders and MPs are present in Srinagar on Monday for the concluding program of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. Earlier today, Ramesh said, “There is a delay in flights from Srinagar airport due to bad weather. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Kharge ji and many other Congress MPs will not be able to attend the President’s address to both Houses of Parliament at 11 am today.
Rajya Sabha Whip CPP Hussain said Kharge, Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and several Congress MPs were stranded at the Srinagar airport due to inclement weather and it would not be possible for them to attend the President’s address at 11 am.
It is known that the budget session of the Parliament is starting from today. And in a while, President Draupadi Murmu is giving her first address in the joint sitting of both the Houses today. The first phase of the budget session will continue till February 13 and the second phase will start from March 13 till April 6. There will be 27 sittings during the budget session.
