Punjab Assembly passes resolution to name upcoming Halwara airport after Kartar Singh Sarabha | Punjab

Chandigarh, March 22: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday unanimously passed a resolution, requesting the Centre to name the upcoming international airport at Indian Air Force Station in Ludhiana’s Halwara as Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha International Airport.

The resolution was moved by CM Bhagwant Mann during the session.

The Chief Minister stated that it would be a humble tribute to the martyr who gave his life for his country.

He stated that the martyr was an inspiration to future generations.
