Punjab government Toll free for officials and employees: The Punjab government has made toll free on the National Highway for officials and employees. The government said in its order- Executive Engineer, SDO, JE, Patwari, District Collector, Deputy Collector water resources will no longer have to pay toll tax.
All of them have been exempted from all types of toll tax on the National Highways while on duty. Principal Secretary Water Resources has also informed the Regional Office of National Highway Authority of India at Panchkula, Haryana about this. All those officials have given information about the category of employees who have been exempted in their letter.
