CM Mann said in the letter that from June 15 to October 15, 1000 MW electricity is required in Punjab. It is clear that if the rainfall in Punjab is less than normal then the paddy crop may be affected due to power shortage. For this, the Punjab Government needs the support of the Central Government.

In the past, the minimum prices of Punjab crops were reduced by the central government.
