Air India Flight: Air India has now taken a new step after two GoFirst Airlines flights from Punjab’s Amritsar airport to Mumbai were suspended. Air India is going to resume its flight which was stopped in February 2023 this year. Air-India has also started booking for this.
Air India has chosen the timing of this flight keeping tourism and business in mind. According to the information received, this flight will fly from May 20. Air-India’s Airbus A320/321 (seats 140-180) will depart from Amritsar at 1.35 am daily and reach Mumbai at 4.20 am.
Along with this, the flight will take off from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Rao International Airport at 10 PM, which will land at Amritsar Airport at 12.55 PM after traveling for 2 hours and 55 minutes.
This flight will be better for tourists
Yogesh Kamra of Amritsar Vikas Manch and Fly Amritsar Initiative said that currently only IndiGo flight was connecting Amritsar-Mumbai. Businessmen and tourists are going to benefit most from this decision of Air India. Sikhs residing in Mumbai can travel to Amritsar from Mumbai at night. After visiting Harmandir Sahib in the morning and visiting Wagah border, you can return to Mumbai on the same day.

This flight departing from Amritsar to Mumbai is also going to prove beneficial for businessmen. Businessmen from Amritsar can take flight from Amritsar at 1.35 pm and reach Amritsar by 10 pm flight after finishing their work and meetings in Mumbai in the morning.
Important route for tourists, textile and jewelery business
Focal Point United Industries Association Chairman Kamal Dalmiya said that cloth merchants go to Surat by flight from Mumbai. Apart from diamond jewelery traders, pilgrims, importers and exporters also visit Shirdi. Along with this, many tourists from Mumbai come to Gurunagari Matha. The government should further increase the number of flights on this route.
