Wrestlers Protest: Wrestlers protesting against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh have announced to throw their medals in the Ganges. Wrestler Vinesh Phogat has given this information by writing an emotional post on social media.

He said that on Tuesday (May 30) at 6 pm, the athletes will hoist their medals in the Ganges of Haridwar. Vinesh Phogat announced this on May 28, two days after the Delhi Police action against the wrestlers. He also said that during the movement, the Prime Minister did not take care of the wrestlers even once.

Bajrang Punia also posted this decision on his social media. Posting it, he said, “You all must have seen what happened on May 28. How the police treated us. How brutally they arrested. The police and the system are treating us like criminals. Women wrestlers on TV confess their ordeals. Now it seems that these medals adorning our necks have no meaning. The thought of returning them was killing us, but what to live by compromising our dignity.”
