Monsoon session of Parliament from July 20

The Monsoon Session of Parliament will run from July 20 to August 11. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi gave this information on Saturday. It is being said that this session will be held in the new parliament. It was inaugurated by PM Modi on May 28.

The Gujarat High Court has rejected the bail plea of ​​social activist Teesta Setalwad. The court has asked him to surrender immediately. Teesta Setalwad is accused of fabricating evidence to implicate innocent people in cases related to the 2002 Gujarat riots. The Supreme Court granted him interim bail in September 2022.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the sponsor of Team India. According to BCCI, fantasy sports gaming company Dream-11 will be the main sponsor of Team India for three years. The Dream-11 logo will now appear on Team India’s jersey starting with the Test series against the West Indies.

According to Economics Times, Dream-11 has acquired the rights for Rs 358 crore. Earlier BYJU’S was the main sponsor of Team India.
