Bureau Report: The timing of the evening retreat ceremony at the India-Pakistan border has been changed. Now this ceremony will be held on Saturday evening from 5:30 pm. The change in time has been made due to the shortening of the day. BSF alternates the retreat ceremony timings during summer and winter season.

About the retreat ceremony to be held at the Hassaniwala Indo-Pak border joint check post, BSF 136 battalion officials said that the retreat ceremony will be held on September 16 at 5.30 pm.

It is late when the summer days are big

Let us tell you that the parade starts late in summer due to the longer days. On the other hand, due to the shorter days in winter, the parade is started earlier. This program at the border is called Retreat Ceremony. People come not only from the country but also from abroad to see it.

There is an international border between India and Pakistan that is thousands of kilometers long. It has retreat ceremony at only three places Sadike Chowki in Fazilka, Hussainiwala border in Ferozepur district and Attari border in Amritsar.

BSF built museum at Hussainiwala border

BSF has also built its own museum near the retreat ceremony at Usaniwala border. In which the handwritten letters of Rajguru, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and other revolutionaries related to freedom are kept along with the pistol of Shaheed-A-Azam Bhagat Singh.
