Chandigarh: Punjab government has accepted two more demands of PRTC and Panbus employees. The government has issued a letter to increase the salaries of the employees by 5 percent. Along with this, 25-30 expelled employees have been called back to work. Now the Union will have a meeting with the Finance Minister on October 4. After this agreement, PRTC and Panbus employees will no longer protest against the Chief Minister on October 2 (i.e. today).

Resham Singh Gill, President of Punjab Roadways-Panbus PRTC District Employees Union, said that the union had gone on strike on September 20 for their demands. In this regard, the Transport Minister held a meeting with them and agreed to the demands of increasing the salaries of the employees by 5 percent and restoring the dismissed employees. It was agreed to hold a meeting with the Chief Minister within a week. But these things were being avoided.

According to this, the union invited to hold a protest against the Chief Minister by hanging black badges in Patiala on October 2. Union State Secretary Shamsher Singh said that the government has issued a letter to increase the salaries of the employees by 5 percent.

After filling the form and blacklisting, 25-30 dismissed employees have been called back to duty. The finance minister will hold a meeting with the union on October 4 regarding other demands. The union has supported these things. Due to which now there will be no opposition to the Chief Minister.
