Mansa: In Musa village of late singer Sidhu Moosewala, there was an uproar this morning when the roof of a poor family’s house collapsed. A woman Rani Kaur (39) died due to the collapse of the roof of the house. In this accident, the husband of the deceased was seriously injured, who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
It has been learned that this family belonging to the labor family was living in a room, the roof of which suddenly collapsed and both of them were buried under the debris. One of their children had come out of the room some time ago, as a result of which she was saved.
On the other hand, Balkaur Singh, father of Sidhu Moosewala, has demanded from the Punjab government that the money for the houses which have been passed under the Kendra Awas Yojana should be released immediately as four more houses in the village are in a state of collapse. On the other hand, the villagers and the family members of the deceased have demanded adequate compensation from the government. They say that the government should help the children of the victim’s family to read and write so that the family can earn a living.
