Sandeep Garg, the owner of the house, told the police that yesterday he had left his house at 4.40 am with his wife for a walk in the garden. Immediately after she left, a suspicious person entered her house at 4.44 am. The young man stayed at their house for about 12 minutes.
These movements of the thief were captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the area. According to Sandeep, when he returned home from a walk, he sat in the park near the house. When his wife entered the house, she was stunned. The drawers of his room were open. He immediately came and informed them.
According to Sandeep, only his 80-year-old mother and son studying in class 10 were in the house. Both grandmother and grandson were sleeping in separate rooms. When he checked his room, about 40 thousand rupees had been stolen. According to Sandeep, he had brought money from the office for some important work.
The thief turned out to be so clever that he even stole the child’s piggy bank. According to the victim, about 17 thousand rupees were kept in the child’s piggy bank. The incident came to light after checking the CCTV cameras installed in the area. Sandeep said that after the incidents of theft in the area, now people are afraid to stay in their houses. The conditions of the area have become such that drug addicts roam freely in areas such as Piru Banda Mohalla. Police should take strict action in this case.
Today, the situation in the area has become such that despite the presence of CCTV, thieves do not commit crimes with their faces hidden. The fear of the police has vanished from the minds of the thieves. Investigation officer Shingara Singh, who reached the spot after the incident, says that the accused will be arrested in the case soon.
