The minimum temperature in Punjab has reached 4.4 degrees amid fog. According to the Meteorological Department, the period of dense fog will continue in Punjab in the coming days. Seeing this, a yellow alert has been issued.

Along with this, a drop of 1.6 degrees was recorded in the night temperature in Punjab. The lowest temperature was recorded at 4.4 degrees Celsius in Jalandhar's Nurmahal. The lowest visibility was 50 to 100 meters in Faridkot, Punjab.

Visibility was 500 to 1000 meters in Amritsar, 200 to 500 meters in Ludhiana, 500 to 1000 meters in Patiala, two to four kilometers in Bathinda. Also, the minimum temperature in Amritsar was 4.7 degrees Celsius, Ludhiana 6.2, Patiala 6.0, Pathankot 5.9, Bathinda 5.0, Gurdaspur 5.5 degrees Celsius.
