The Punjab government is all set to host the 31st meeting of the Northern Zonal Council (NJC) tomorrow.

The state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is all set to host the 31st meeting of the North Zonal Council (NJC) on September 26 and adequate arrangements have been made by the government in this regard.

The meeting will be chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah while the Chief Ministers of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan as well as the Administrator of Chandigarh and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Delhi are also likely to attend it. Various issues related to these states will be discussed during the meeting. Adequate arrangements have already been made by the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to conduct the meeting smoothly.

The Chief Minister has already held several meetings with senior officials to review the arrangements for this meeting. He emphasized on extending a warm welcome to the dignitaries attending the meeting to make the event a success. Bhagwant Singh Mann directed the officials to ensure warm hospitality during their stay besides presenting a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage of the state to the visiting dignitaries.

Adequate arrangements will be made by the state government for the comfortable stay of the dignitaries attending the meeting. Apart from ensuring their comfortable stay in the state, guests will also be given a glimpse of the rich Punjabi culture. Senior officials of the state government have already been assigned the duty to conduct the meeting smoothly. Similarly, adequate security arrangements have also been ensured before the meeting.
