A high-speed truck crushed a mother and son, the child died on the spot

A truck hit a mother and son in an Activa near Vardhaman Park on Chandigarh Road in Punjab’s Ludhiana. A 6-year-old child died in this accident, while his mother was seriously injured. The woman was going to drop her son off at school. People caught the truck driver on the spot.

She was going to leave school on a scooter
The injured woman has been identified as Monika. On Friday morning, she was going to drop her son Vivaan (6), who was studying in the nursery class, to Narayan School on a scooty. Monica is also a vice principal in a private school. As she neared Vardhaman Park, the rear wheel of a truck loaded with rebars hit her scooty.

After the accident, the Activa fell a long way. Vivaan died on the spot due to the tire hitting her head, while Monica’s legs were crushed by the tyre.

People caught the truck driver
When the driver of the truck started running away, people caught him from the spot. After informing the police, the injured woman was admitted to the hospital. People handed over the accused driver to Jamalpur police station. Along with this, after the incident, Vivaan’s father is in a bad condition.
