According to information, these robbers had robbed a pump and a liquor store in Kapurthala two days ago and fled after killing in Tarn Taran on Friday evening. Kapurthala police have arrested the accused. While the police team is conducting a raid to nab two more members of this gang. The police have recovered the I-20 car, one Glock pistol, one country pistol and 4 live pistols that were looted from Jandiala Guru on January 14 from the arrested robbers.

Kapurthala's SSP Vatsala Gupta said that this robber gang had created terror in four districts of Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Jalandhar and Kapurthala. On the morning of January 17, 3 members of this gang first filled the stolen I-20 car with Rs 3,000 worth of petrol at the Vijay Sewa Kendra petrol pump in Kala Sanghya and then robbed the pump attendant of Rs 10,000 at gunpoint. took and escaped.

After the FIR was registered in the Sadar police station regarding this incident, the team of SP-D Ramaninder Singh, DSP Gurmeet Singh and CIA staff in-charge Jarnail Singh with the help of the technical team started the investigation. On January 20, Kala Sanghya Chowki along with a police party seized an I-20 car during the blockade near Aujla Gate.

When stopped and searched on the basis of suspicion, Mathu Murali Singh resident of Shahbazpur District Tarn Taran, Gurpreet Singh alias Gora resident of Gatta Badshah Bastilal Singh Thana Makhu District Ferozepur were riding in it. It is IT-20 car no. PB-02-CS-4081 was the same which these men robbed from Jandiala on 14th January and then on 17th January they robbed the pump at Kala Sanghya in Kapurthala.

The SSP said that during interrogation after arresting the two, they told that a gang was formed with Mathu Murari, Gora and Sevak Singh alias Mahek resident Harike Tarn Taran. The said car was taken away from Jandiala Guru on Maghi day at gunpoint. The case of which is registered at Jandiala Guru.

Apart from this, on January 15, these three together robbed 41 thousand rupees in cash and 9 bottles of liquor from a liquor store in Banga Road, Phagwara, at gunpoint. The case of which is registered at Thana City Phagwara. Then on January 17, the three together robbed a petrol pump attendant in Kala Sangya. After this robbery, on the same day, the three together tried to rob the Puni Sweet shop in village Rupewal, district Jalandhar.

When the shopkeeper resisted, they shot him with the intention of killing him. The case is registered in Shahkot police station. The SSP said that then these persons together shot and killed Sukhpreet Singh, resident of Harike, Galalipur police station Sadar Tarn Taran on Friday.

A case of his murder is registered in Sadar police station. According to the SSP, raids are being conducted to search for their third accomplice servant and the fourth member of the gang. They will also be arrested soon.
