Shubneet aka Shubh’s reaction comes after Vote-speaker company Mumbai withdrew its sponsorship and canceled the show from September 23 to 25. The singer has put up a post on his Instagram account and expressed his grief over the cancellation of his India tour.

Shubh has reacted to this entire incident on his social media account. Shubh said – As a young rapper-singer hailing from Punjab, India, it was my lifelong dream to bring my music to the international stage. But recent events have affected my efforts and progress. I want to say a few words to express my disappointment and sorrow.

Shubh said that I am very disappointed with the cancellation of my tour in India. I was very excited to perform in my own country, in front of my own people. Preparations were in full swing and I had been practicing with all my heart and soul for the past two months. I was ready to perform, but I think fate had something else in store.

Shubh said that India is also my country. I was born here. This is the land of my gurus and my ancestors, Punjab is my soul, Punjab is in my blood. I am what I am today because of Punjabi. Punjabis do not need to prove their patriotism. He further said ‘I request that Punjabis should not be called anti-national… The post shared by me is not meant to hurt anyone’s sentiments’.

Talking about his earlier post, Shubh said that he had not shared that picture with any wrong intention. It only shared the map to pray for Punjab after reports of power and internet services being cut off in the state.

The singer has written in his post – “Manas ki jaat sabai ekai pahachanbo”

“But the Guru has taught me not to be afraid and not to be intimidated by anyone, which is what Punjabiyat teaches. I will continue to work hard. I and my team will soon come back stronger and stronger.”

Shubneet aka Shubh ran into controversies when he posted a map on his social media handle. He removed Punjab and Jammu Kashmir from the map of India. After this, his name started to be associated with Khalistanis.

Shubneet’s Indians also tore down posters and started protesting against it. Meanwhile, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli also unfollowed Shubneet alias Shubh from his social media handle.

After this incident, Vote-Speaker Company Mumbai withdrew the sponsorship and the show from 23 September to 25 September was cancelled.

Singer Shubh’s tour has been canceled not only in Mumbai but across India. In which shows were to be done in 12 different cities including Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore. Book My Show has given this information in a post on the social media platform.

The company said that customers will get a full refund of the tickets within 7-10 days. The show was to be held on the Cordelia Cruise. Shubh was to do his show in Mumbai from September 23 to 25.
