During the silent fast, the leaders are holding anti-central government placards with different slogans to put their point before the people. A large number of Congress workers are arriving to participate in this silent satyagraha. The performance will continue till 5 pm.
Condemning the chaotic elements happening in Manipur, state president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring has demanded strict punishment to the anti-social elements who carried out the incident and justice to the victim’s families. Along with this, he appealed to the people affected by the violence to maintain peace.
Before starting the silent fast, the leaders said that the very painful incident in Manipur has made them cry. Mother India is crying about what is happening to her daughters today. When the government creates hatred among the people, such cruel incidents happen. Which is no longer bearable. At present the whole country is standing with Manipur. Demanded the President to dismiss the Manipur government and impose President’s rule.
