A plane carrying more than 300 passengers is likely to land at the Mumbai airport on Monday afternoon.

An A340 aircraft operated by Romania's Legend Airlines is likely to land at the Mumbai airport. The plane had taken off from Vetry airport near Paris, where it was grounded, the source said. A flight from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nicaragua carrying 303 passengers was stopped on Thursday at Vetry airport, 150 km east of Paris, on suspicion of 'human trafficking'.

Four French judges questioned the detained passengers on Sunday. The hearing was held as part of an investigation launched by the Paris prosecutor's office into suspected human trafficking. According to French media, some passengers were speaking Hindi and some were speaking Tamil.

After clearing the plane for departure, French judges on Sunday decided to cancel the passengers' hearing due to procedural irregularities. There were 11 minors on the plane, who were not accompanied by anyone else. According to French prosecutors, the detention of the two passengers detained since Friday was extended by 48 hours on Saturday evening.
