The ION chocolate factory is looking for maintenance engineers

Everyone’s favorite ION chocolate industry is looking for two maintenance engineers (TE). The candidates that will be selected, will be integrated into the maintenance team of the molding-packaging department of the N. Faliros factory, which takes care of:

• Installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Control and repair of production line faults
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance work

According to job advertisementwhich proson.gr communicates, the aindispensable qualifications that candidates must have are the following:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering TEI
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Good computer use
• Ability to work in shifts.

Desirable is work experience in a corresponding position

The history of ION

ION Co., Ltd. of Industry and Trade of Cocoa and Chocolate is a Greek chocolate company based in New Faliro from 1930 and is considered one of the 50 largest Greek companieswith an annual turnover of over 118.8 million euros.

Production products include various types of chocolate, croissants, wafers and other confectionery, with the best known Chocolate almondy, Socofreta and Nukrema. In 1947, the ION chocolate factory presented for the first time to the Greek market milk chocolate with almonds, called ION Amygdalou.

Chocofretta is a wafer with a chocolate coating, which was released for the first time on the Greek market 1977. Before taking out the chocofrette, ION took out the children’s wafer Safari, which had stickers of wild animals in its packaging.
