The Indian Army has killed 38 terrorists so far this year

Indian Army: Contrary to the claims of the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, there has been no decrease in terrorist activities. The security forces are constantly claiming that terrorism is on the verge of ending in Kashmir. But the continuous terrorist activities are telling something else. In fact, more than half of the 38 terrorists killed in the state in the first 7 months of this year were not killed in the Kashmir Valley but in other districts.

In the last three months, the army has killed 21 terrorists in an encounter in Kashmir. These figures have been released by the security forces between June 1 and July 20. In these three months, the terrorists made a big infiltration and the army gave them a befitting reply. In the first seven months of the year, 38 terrorists were killed in clashes with the army. While 9 civilians were also killed and 13 security personnel were also martyred.

The army claims that there has been a 73 percent reduction in the number of terrorists killed from January 1 to July 20 this year and during the same period in 2022. Security experts attribute this trend to curbing terrorist activities and reduction in local recruitment. According to official data, 35 terrorists were killed in Jammu and Kashmir between January 1 and July 20, while 131 terrorists were killed during the same period last year. The number of deaths by domestic terrorists decreased from 95 during January-July to eight during the 2022 period.

Sources concerned said that in Operation Clean, apart from electronic surveillance, the security forces have kept their ground human intelligence network fully active and the security forces have started cordoning off the concerned areas immediately after the sighting of the terrorists.
