Earlier on Saturday, 2994 new cases of Corona were reported in the country, while there was news of 9 deaths. On the other hand, 3095 new cases of Corona were reported in the country on Friday, while 5 people died. That is, compared to April 1, 830 more new cases of Corona have been reported in the country on Sunday, April 2.

The number of corona infected in the country is 4,47,22,818

With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 47 lakh 22 thousand 818. While the number of recovered people has increased to 4 crore 41 lakh 73 thousand 335. Along with this, a total of 5 lakh 30 thousand 880 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country.

According to the information provided by the Union Health Ministry, the daily positive rate is currently 2.87 percent and the weekly positive rate is 2.24 percent. The number of people recovering from Corona is constantly increasing. Now the recovery rate in the country has reached 98.77 percent. While the death rate remains at 1.19 percent. Also, active cases comprise 0.04 percent of total infections. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, about 220.66 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
