A speeding car went out of control and rammed into a house and a shop on Jhajjar Road in Rohtak city of Haryana on Monday night at 10 pm. Four-year-old girl Sunaina died in the accident, while her father Devendra, who was a bike-scooter mechanic, was seriously injured.

According to the preliminary investigation of the police, information was received late at night that a road accident has taken place near Jalghar on Jhajjar Road. Police reached the spot, where eyewitnesses said that Devendra, a resident of Vijay Nagar, is a scooter and bike mechanic. There is a shop downstairs and a house upstairs. He was standing outside the house late at night and his four-year-old daughter Sunaina was sitting on the stairs. Meanwhile, a white car came from Rupi Chowk. There were four youths in the car. The car was sometimes going from here and sometimes there.

Meanwhile, a little ahead of the water tank, the car hit the divider and went out of control and entered the shop and the house. Devendra and his daughter Sunaina who were sitting on the stairs were injured in this collision. Scooters and other vehicles were also damaged. The youth in the car got down and escaped from the spot. People gathered at the spot tried to catch the youth but were unsuccessful.

Inspector Pradeep Dahiya in charge of police station Shivaji Colony said that the accident was reported. The girl died while her father was injured. Verma is written on the back of the glass of the accused’s car. The four youths in the car escaped. Now only after investigation will know whose car it belongs to. Soon a case will be registered and the accused will be arrested.
