Ammunition supplier Shahbaz Ansari was arrested by the NIA team from Bulandshahr on December 8, 2022 in the murder of Moosewala. During the interrogation of Shahbaz Ansari, it was found that he is close to Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar. Shahbaz Ansari visited Dubai several times.
During these visits he came in contact with Faizi Khan, a Pakistani national working as a hawala operator in Dubai. It was Faizi Khan who introduced Ansari to Hamid, a Pakistani national and arms supplier.
According to documents produced by the NIA in court, during one such meeting, Ansari and Hamid discussed the business of arms smuggling and the supply of consignments of arms and ammunition to India. Not only this, the arrested Ansari and the deceased’s father Qurban Ansari were the main suppliers of arms to the Bishnoi gang.
In this meeting they asked for weapons to kill Moosewala
According to the investigation, there was a meeting between Hamid and Shahbaz Ansari. In which the issue of supplying weapons for the murder of Sidhu Moosewala was revealed. Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar demanded assault rifles and other weapons to kill Musewala. Hamid then told Ansari that he was also in touch with Goldie Brar and had provided arms to her several times. According to the NIA, Hamid showed Ansari his phone, which contained audio recordings related to the supply of arms to Goldie Brar.
