A fire department official said a level three (major fire category) blaze broke out in Appa Pada area. Efforts are on to control the flames.

A plume of smoke is rising from the area which can be seen from several kilometers away. According to the official, efforts are being made to control the fire in the area with the help of fire engines, big water tankers and other equipment. An ambulance has also been deployed on the spot. The reasons for the fire are yet to be known.

BMC said, 15-20 LPG cylinders exploded in the fire incident

BMC told that the fire has reached the third level in Anand Nagar, Appa Pada, Malad East. 15-20 LPG cylinders have exploded. To control the fire, 12 motor pumps have been installed. A dead body has been recovered. The investigation into any injured and missing persons is ongoing.

Major fire broke out on the set of TV serial ‘Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein’

Earlier on March 10, there was a massive fire incident in Goregaon, a suburb of Mumbai. In which a fierce fire broke out on the sets of the TV serial ‘Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein’ in Film City. However, there was no casualty in the fire incident. The production house of the TV show ‘Cakro Entertainment Shaika Films’ had told that the cast and crew of the serial are safe.
