Amritsar: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has launched its web channel today for broadcasting the Gurbani Kirtan in Sri Darbar Sahib. Before the SGPC started its web channel, Shri Akhand Path was started to seek the blessings of Guru Sahib Ji, which was enjoyed this morning. After the feast, a grand Gurmati function was held at Gurdwara Manji Sahib Diwan Hall and ceremonial kirtan was sung. Various Sikh organizations participated in this event.

Dhami said that while explaining about the channel, Dhami said that all the rights of this YouTube channel are kept with the Shiromani Committee, we will not give its link to anyone else because many times there are many errors in the link. Speaking about the name of the channel, Dhami said that this channel was first named Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, then Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib. Many people gave many suggestions on the name from him.

Hence now its name will be changed to ‘SGPC Amritsar’. Dhami said that this channel will run for three months, after that we will start the satellite channel, there may be a little delay but this channel will definitely be launched. Again we have no agreement with PTC, only Gurbani will be broadcast there for some time.

Dhami said that today is a very historic day for the Khalsa Panth, there some souls are burning with jealousy. Without naming anyone, Dhami said that they are saying that the president of SGPC is lying while we are launching our YouTube channel today. I did not say anywhere that we will launch the satellite channel on July 23, we said about the YouTube channel. Those who are telling these lies should also look within themselves that once you also started these activities, why didn’t you put an end to it at that time. If today we have completed that task, now their faces are talking with envy.

Dhami targeted Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and said that he is saying that the Shiromani Committee had already planned. We did not make any plans, we promised YouTube, which has been fulfilled today. We are also continuously doing the work of the satellite channel which will soon come before the Sangat. Dhami told the government that you do your necessary work, we don’t need governments. Guru Sahib ji himself has to make the channel from us.

In fact, yesterday Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had said that he had already planned that at last he changed his plan to continue broadcasting Gurbani on satellite channel also, that too only on PTC.

Dhami said that some of our members were lured with money. One of our members was approached by the government and pressured to oppose the executive muting. Dhami alleged that the government has given a direction to a minister to buy members of SGPC.
