Bureau report : In Tarn Taran, Punjab Police had an encounter with robbers who were running away after looting a petrol pump. Seeing themselves surrounded by the police, the miscreants started firing. In retaliation, the police started firing. In which both robbers were injured. The police admitted both of them to the hospital where one died. The second is said to be injured.
The incident took place in Sarai Amanat Khan. On Friday evening, robbers targeted 2 petrol pumps. After committing the robbery, the robbers escaped from there. But on the way the police surrounded them. Police say that action has been initiated based on the statements of the petrol pump owners.
