The mood of the weather is going to change once again in Punjab. After getting some relief from the heat, the temperature will rise in the next three days. After this, relief is expected from May 23. The Meteorological Department said that the Western Disturbance is becoming active at the beginning of next week. Due to this, strong winds will blow with rain on 23rd and 24th May. This will reduce the temperature and people will get relief from heat.
It rained in some areas of Punjab on Friday as well. Samrala recorded the highest temperature of 39.1 degrees. The temperature was recorded at 38.5 degrees Celsius in Amritsar, 37.0 degrees Celsius in Ludhiana, 38.2 degrees Celsius in Patiala, and 37.2 degrees Celsius in Bathinda. Mahindergarh in Haryana was the hottest. From here, the temperature was recorded at 40.3 degrees Celsius.

The temperature may increase by 3 degrees in the next three days in Haryana. In some cities, the temperature can be recorded up to 45 degrees. Weather expert Dr. Jagmohan said that the Western Disturbance will remain active till the night of May 23. A new Western Disturbance may become active on May 26. Convergence of new disturbances will bring light to moderate rain with wind speed of 40 to 50 kmph.
