On the occasion of Rakhi, elaborate arrangements were made by the prison administration in the jails of Punjab. Meanwhile, a large number of sisters arrived to tie rakhi to the jailed brothers. Elaborate arrangements were made by the administration for the sisters who arrived at Rakhi Bannan to convicts in the Central Jail of Faridkot. Meanwhile, 10 each of the convicts and prisoners were introduced to their sisters in the midst of security. The sisters were very happy to see the home-like atmosphere in the jail.

Talking about Patiala Jail, here also the sisters who reached the jail met their brothers and tied rakhi on their wrists. On this occasion, security arrangements were made by the jail administration. The sisters who arrived here from different places said that the security arrangements have been made very well. Previously, the jail administration did not allow them to go inside the jail and meet their brothers, but this time they have joined the brothers to celebrate Rakhi. On the other hand, Jail Superintendent Manjit Singh Sidhu said that proper arrangements were made by the Jail Administration. No sister was allowed to suffer.

On the other hand, the Muktsar Jail administration also made good efforts for the rakhi festival for the inmates. Where the sisters of the prisoners became concubines, the sisters took a promise from their brother as a gift to leave all bad habits and become a good person. The brother gave a promise to the sisters to follow the right path, which is being greatly appreciated.

In Ludhiana’s Central Jail, inmates also celebrated the festival of Rakhi with pomp. Special arrangements were made by the jail administration in view of the festival. The sisters tied the rakhi to the brothers sitting on the chair in front. About 2500 sisters reached the jail. Due to the ban on bringing goods and sweets from outside, the jail administration also provided sugar to sweeten the sisters’ mouths.

Meanwhile, a new picture has emerged from Pathankot. Taking a very commendable step by the policemen of this place, the beggar sitting on the road was given a rakhi. Raju, the beggar sitting on the roadside, also appreciated the work of the policemen. Raju says that he has his own sisters too, but they don’t care about me, no one ties them rakhi.

When talking to the women police personnel in this regard, they said that they have tied rakhi to the people living on the road so that they too do not miss their loved ones during the festival.
