Enthusiasm to go abroad is increasing among the youth. Every year, a large number of young people from Punjab go to countries like Canada, America, Australia or Italy so that they can build a bright future. But sometimes such an unfortunate incident happens to them which is not even imagined.
One such case has come to light from Sherpur, where a Punjabi youth has died in America. The deceased has been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Billa. His age is said to be 31 years.
Ranjit Singh, the father of the deceased, while giving information, said that his son Gurpreet used to work in his taxi car in Dasmesh Taxi Union in Sherpur and he had gone to America about a month and a half ago. The deceased Gurpreet was the only son of his parents.
Ranjit Singh, the father of the deceased, said that last night he received a call that Gurpreet had died suddenly in America. As soon as the news was received, the entire house and village were in mourning. Gurpreet was the support of his parents in their old age and due to the sudden death, a mountain of sorrows has broken on them and the family members are in a terrible condition.
