Amritsar police has taken a big action against drugs. A total of 12 persons have been arrested for smuggling banned drugs from UP and Gujarat. About 16 lakh banned pills have been recovered from them and a case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
According to the information received, 5 of the arrested accused are residents of Tarn Taran and 2 are Sachin Kumar, Yogesh alias Rinku, Manish, Rekha, a resident of Delhi, a resident of Kosikalan village in Mathura district of UP. The said information has been given by tweet from DGP Punjab.
