Punjab roadways will not be jammed

Roadways buses will not be jammed in Punjab today. All buses will run as normal after the Punjab Roadways and Panbus Contract Employees Union called off their 3-day strike and jam.

Main demands of roadways workers
The demand of the employees is that the contract system should be abolished from the transport. The government should spend on the welfare of 20 to 25 crore employees who are exempted from GST. 5 percent increase in salaries of raw employees should be ensured.

By abolishing the kilometer scheme scheme, buses should be included in the fleet of roadways. Employees should be recruited on vacant posts in roadways, but this recruitment should not be outsourced or contracted, but should be direct.
