Punjab News Punjab Congress staged a demonstration in Chandigarh. He wanted to go to the Governor House regarding the SYL canal due to the dispute between Punjab and Haryana. Even before getting there though Chandigarh Police (Chandigarh Police) stopped them. So the route was barricaded. When the Congressmen climbed the barricade, the police used water cannons. After which the Congressmen were chased away from there.
After this, the police Punjab Congress (Punjab Congress) President Amarinder Singh Raja Waring and other Congressmen were detained. After being taken into custody by the Chandigarh Police, Congress president Raja Waring said that he would not give even a drop of Punjab’s water to any state.
Blasphemy against the Punjab government
During the demonstration, the Punjab Congress criticized the Punjab government and said Chief Minister (Chief Minister) People of Punjab are being made stupid. Congress leaders said that the people of Punjab are now understanding their tactics. After this, the police detained Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring and other Congressmen. After being detained by the Chandigarh Police, Raja Waring said that he would not give even a drop of Punjab water to any state.
If the Chief Minister wants, we are ready for a debate-BJP
The Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Legislative Assembly said that they are ready for a debate with the Chief Minister, but equal time should be given to all parties and there should be an open debate in front of the media and they will answer every question of the government.
Police diverted the traffic
In view of the opposition of the Congress, the Chandigarh Police diverted the traffic on the road leading to PGI Chandigarh from Sector 16 Chowk. Chandigarh Police has appealed to the people not to come on this road in view of the law and order situation.
