New Delhi / Varanasi. According to the big news received from Uttar Pradesh, today Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) is going to address ‘One World TB Summit’ on World Tuberculosis Day at Rudraksh Convention Center in Varanasi. The summit is being organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and the Stop TB Partnership. International delegates from more than 30 countries are expected to participate in this special summit.

At the same time, during this special event, today the Prime Minister will launch various initiatives including the TB-free Panchayat initiative. Established in 2001, the Stop TB Partnership is a United Nations-hosted organization that amplifies the voices of people, communities and countries affected by TB. In this program today, PM Modi will also award selected States/Union Territories and Districts on his behalf for their progress towards ending TB.

Today, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 1780 crore during the program at Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya ground. And today he will also lay the foundation stone of passenger ropeway from Varanasi Cantt station to Godaulia. The estimated cost of the project will be around Rs 645 crore. The ropeway system will be 3.75 km long, with five stations.

Along with this, today Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of 55 MLD sewage treatment plant in Bhagwanpur under Namami Gange scheme. Which will be constructed at a cost of more than Rs 300 crore. In this way, in the last 9 years, Prime Minister Modi has also paid special attention to changing the landscape of his parliamentary constituency Varanasi and making life easier for the people living in the city and surrounding areas.
