The French President arrived in India, the Foreign Minister gave a warm welcome at the international airport

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in India today. They are on a 2 day tour. Macron's journey has started from Jaipur in Rajasthan. President Macron will attend the Republic Day Parade 2024 as the Chief Guest.

According to information, on arrival at Jaipur International Airport, he was welcomed by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

PM Modi had invited the French President to attend the Republic Day celebrations as the chief guest. His visit is dedicated to the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the India-France strategic partnership. Jaipur, known as the Pink City, is decorated with posters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Macron.

Macron will begin his trip by visiting the Amber Fort. Later, Prime Minister Modi will welcome them and the two leaders will visit the Pink City together. Macron will visit the Amber Fort and interact with artisans, stakeholders of Indo-French cultural projects as well as students.

After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will welcome them and both leaders will visit some historical places of the Pink City including Jantar Mantar. Later in the evening they will visit Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. After which Prime Minister Modi and French President will hold a bilateral meeting at Taj Rambagh Palace.

Let it be known that a contingent of French armed forces is participating in the Republic Day parade and flypast with Indian soldiers and aircraft. On January 26, President Macron will attend the Republic Day Parade as the chief guest.
