[ad_1]

Bureau report : Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has made a big claim that petrol will be available at Rs 15 per liter in the country, all this will be with the help of ethanol. He has said that in the coming time, the farmer will not only be annadatat but also urjadatat. Because all this will be done by the farmer of the country. Gadkari said that the vehicles of Toyota company are being launched in August, all these vehicles will run on ethanol produced by farmers. 60% ethanol, 40% electricity and then its average will be 15 rupees per liter of petrol. The import of petrol is worth 16 lakh crore, now all this money will go to the farmers.

Learn how ethanol will be cheaper

E20 petrol i.e. petrol mixed with ethanol is a form of alcohol. Which is made with starch and sugar. Sugarcane juice, corn, roasted potatoes, vegetables, sweet beet, straw are used in it. Because all these things are obtained from agriculture. That is why Gadkari has said that only farmers will provide this energy. 80 percent of the energy generated by this will be petrol and 20 percent ethanol. Which is called E20 petrol. Now only 10% ethanol is mixed in petrol. But now its quantity will be increased.

This will reduce the price of E20 petrol, it will be used in vehicles. The central government has started EBP i.e. Ethanol Blending Program to promote it. Under which the target is to start E20 petrol pumps in all places of the country by 2025.

How many vehicles can it be used in?

Petrol made with ethanol can be used in the new model vehicles. The reason for this is that most of the ready-made vehicles are of BS-4 and BS-6 stage engines. Under the Ethanol Blending Program, the Central Government has already instructed the engine manufacturing company to manufacture engines for E20 petrol. By the way, this vehicle is being used all over the world. But with this, the fear of average and low power of the vehicle remains, although some changes can be made in the engine of the old vehicles.

Petrol companies mix ethanol

Oil companies do the work of adding ethanol to petrol. At present, ethanol blending is being done at Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s terminals located in Panipat, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem and Triruchi.

What is ethanol?

Ethanol is a type of alcohol that is made by mixing starch and sugar. It is mixed with petrol and used as the only friendly fuel in vehicles. Ethanol is mainly produced from sugarcane juice. But starch containing materials like maize, rotten potatoes, cassava and rotten vegetables also produce ethanol.
